  • My appointment was 45 mins late starting and there were alarms sounding in the waiting room.

    I'm sorry that your appointment was 45 minutes late, we try to keep to people's appointment times because we know how important this is for people.

    There are a number of alarms that are activated in the hospital; I am sorry this made your visit uncomfortable.

  • The actual appointment was good, but was just a preliminary appointment. It took nearly 7 months to get the appointment and now, nearly 4 weeks later, I have heard nothing

    Thank you for your feedback, I am pleased you found the initial appointment helpful and I am sorry the length of time it took to get your appointment was nearly seven months, this service has proved more popular and supportive to patients than we had initially expected, we are working hard with our clinicians to increase the number of available appointments. I can only apologies to you that you have not heard anything since the appointment and I will discuss this with the relevant persons.

We did

  • We are working with the consultant and medical secretary to maximise available appointments and ensure clinic letters are sent out to patients within a reasonable timeframe. Thank you for raising this.
  • We are trialling increased number of appointments each week to help those that are requiring our service
  • We have no added an extra clinic each week with another consultant to help with waiting times for appointments
