- ‘Slight confusion with getting from Derriford to the centre’ ‘Communication with taxi service’ ‘Thought it was silly having to get a taxi. Waste of resource’ We understand this is particularly difficult due to roadworks - once complete the route will be easier. When we have enough staff and the weather/lighting is good, we try to walk people over instead of using taxis. We are asking for descriptions of clothing to enable easier recognition by taxi drivers. .
- ‘could have been opened earlier’ When possible accept people into the department earlier than 6pm now, as we have been able to use staff time differently
- ‘would liked to have option to be admitted if needed in future’ We work closely with teams to admit patients when required. Please call your local First Response Team if you require current advice.
- ‘felt more could have been done by A2ED, felt he didn't get answers that GP has since answered which is frustrating given that it is a MH team , not as good as the LPS’ Attendance at A2ED is optional and we are pleased that your needs have been met now and in the past. With your consent we communicate with your GP and hope this was helpful to their decision making.
