  • the initial work with anxiety did help me to identify my issues and ideas of how to deal with them. however, the 1-1 counselling is what really helped me. Helen Kirk carried out my assessment, and right away I felt comfortable and asked if she could work with me for the counselling. I am so pleased that this did happen. Helen was professional, calm and I felt extremely relaxed and was able to tackle all of the issues that had caused considerable suffering for many years.

  • The service was excellent. My practitioner took an energised dynamic approach to my phobia and worked with me throughout . treatment was intense and tough though needed to be in order to change deep rooted core beliefs. treatment has already enabled me to accept things I considered impossible before and set me on course to do more.

  • Waiting times are very long to access therapy and I keep getting told to refer to multiple other services, who in turn refer me back to each other. The lady I spoke to was good but as I said I am aware I drink a little more than I should she said I may not be able to access help which is very upsetting when I am trying to get help with my problems to reduce my reliance on drinking.

  • I am disabled so this limits me but the service helped me see positive thoughts. My first treatment was in a group on zoom, I wasn't keen on that.

  • The course has given me some really useful tools/tips to help with a variety of stress-based issues.

    Rosie and Lee were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable.

    I really liked the ability to attend the course on Teams (from home) and avoid travelling (cost and time). I wouldn’t have been able to attend the course in person as it wasn’t on a day/time I could do. Teams also has a great chat function for those that aren’t confident enough to speak.

  • I found the course really useful at understanding my anxiety and what it may cause me to do such as avoidance. This was something I had always felt bad for doing but never realised the two were linked. I also liked that they gave us quick anxiety fixers as well as techniques to use long term.
